Capturing the delicate details of your journey through motherhood.

Based just north of Houston, Texas in The Woodlands, I was born and raised a southern girl. As the mama of two sweet babies, I know how important each phase of motherhood is and how precious the tiny details and intimate connections are along the way. Photographing families and their littles is what keeps my love for photography going.

When I had my first baby in 2022, I began seeing the details of every day life had so much more importance than I once believed. The translation into photography has been astounding, and I know I’m right where God meant for me to be.

HOW I GOT HERE

About Me. I’m the owner and photographer of Studio Brae, based in The Woodlands, Texas. As a proud mama to two precious babies, Beckam and Raelyn, and a firefighter's wife, I live life always on my toes.

I grew up the daughter of a single mother, and the second-mom to my younger sister. I was born with a mothering heart and a tenderness for those that I held closely. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing in 2017, without any idea where the road would lead. I met my husband in 2018, we married in 2021, had our first baby in 2022, and our second in 2023. This life has been a rollercoaster (a very fast one, I might add) and I’m so grateful for every up and down that led me to where I am today.

I have always had the heart of an artist—”practicing” hand-writing each summer before school, doodling throughout journals, creating websites, drafting yearbooks, even opening a calligraphy business for weddings and large events. But none of that has captured me the way photography has. I often catch myself smiling while editing, because it warms my heart so much that I get to call this job mine. Totally worth the unnecessary college degree! ;-)

About Photography. Motherhood has opened my eyes to the small details I once (stupidly) overlooked—the tiny toes, the big smiles, the playful laughter. It’s the moments I look back on and wish I could’ve encapsulated sooner, and often times, more frequently.

For me, photography is about preserving both the small and big moments. It's where beauty meets authenticity because I whole-heartedly believe that each person's love story is unique. Whether it's the love for a significant other or a child, I strive to ensure that every story is affectionately and beautifully showcased.

My heart and passion lies with mama. I know your heart so well. The longing desire to have your little’s stay little forever while also wishing for the next morning after a long night. Your journey through motherhood is my muse, my calling. Your birth story, your cries, your wishes to make it all feel not so lonely… I want to walk through it all with you.
